Formerly the Staab House mansion, the ghost of the original property owner’s wife, Julia Staab, is the subject of many ghost stories at the hotel. She has been seen numerous times in her old bedroom, in the stairway near her room and her reflection in hotel mirrors.

04/25/2011La Posada de Santa Fe Welcomes New Executive Chef Eric HallSanta Fe, New Mexico – April 25, 2011 – Eric Hall has been appointed executive chef at La Posada de Santa Fe, A RockResort in Santa Fe, New Mexico. To further guests’ overall dining and culinary experiences, Chef Hall will oversee all dining operations at the property, including fine dining at the AAA award-winning Fuego restaurant, the historic Staab House, specializing in cocktails and light fare, as well as the outdoor Viga Restaurant. Chef Hall joins a strong culinary team at the resort led by Food and Beverage Director Mary Nearn.
